Thanks Laura! There will be a lot of Latin. And even some Italian - I've translated some lovely Italian sonnets into English verse, and will post them with explanations at some date.

I'm Catholic and have only been exposed to the vernacular during Mass since I was born way after Vatican II. I attended a traditional Catholic funeral mass earlier this year where the old rite and Latin was used. Hearing the Latin chants were so beautiful -- I wish I knew more than a few words. I'd also like to know some Greek as well.

I’m so excited about this! We homeschooled our kids and they learned (and I along with them) Latin and Ancient Greek. Now that the youngest is almost 20, I could use some brushing up and learning more!
